One of the stars from the past Nigeria league season Chisom Egbuchulam will soon debut for the Super Eagles, according to his championship-winning coach at Rangers Imama Amapakabo.

Egbuchulam was the second leading scorer in the NPFL with 16 goals including a hat-trick in the championship decider against El Kanemi Warriors on the final day of the season.
The forward was a last-minute replacement for Rangers teammate Bobby Clement on the Eagles squad for this afternoon’s World Cup qualifier in Zambia with Imama also in Ndola as an assistant to coach Gernot Rohr.
Egbuchulam looks the most likely home-based player to be involved in today’s match and Imama said the exciting forward has the class to shine with the Super Eagles.
“I see him soon making his debut for the Eagles,” endorsed the Rangers coach.
“He only needs to bring out what is in him.
“Nigeria are yet to see the best in him.”
Imama recalled how he re-energised the career of a player who was previously not regarded good enough to start games for Rangers.
“Before I came (to Rangers), they felt he could not start games, but this season he has proved everyone wrong,” recounted the coach.
