Former Medeama head coach Tom Strand is reportedly close to returning to Ghana as Hearts of Oak look to appoint him as their new trainer.
The Swedish tactician disappeared after Medeama's 3-1 defeat to South African side Mamelodi Sundown in the CAF Confederation Cup six months ago.
According to reports coming out of Ghana, since leaving Medeama, Strand has been enjoying an extensive holiday in his home country.
It has also been revealed by Sportsobana that Strand is set to join Ghana Premier League giants Hearts as the head coach in the coming weeks.
Hearts are believed have targeted the 33-year-old trainer since his days at Medeama where he finished 11th on the league standings last season.
Hearts are currently under the guidance of Yaw Preko. The tactician is a caretaker coach.
