Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says that he does not want to confuse his players ahead of their second leg CAF Champions League final match against Zamalek on Sunday.
The Brazilians take a healthy 3-0 lead into the tie from the first leg in Tshwane a week ago and Mosimane admits he does not want to overload his players with information for fear of them crumbling under the pressure.
“We don’t want to do too much, or want the players to be overloaded with too much information – too much information is also not good,” Mosimane tells Kick-Off.com.
“We have to take the information, and cut it down into bullet points for the players to focus on.
“The last thing we want to do now is to do too many things. We’ve been in this tournament for nine months, but in two days before the final you want to make the best preparations ever?
“No ways... you are already late. It’s like at school, when you’ve been studying the whole year, but three days before the exam you want to know all the answers?
“If the mind is there, the body is there and there’s a will to win, and the plan on how to win this game is there, we will win the match.”
The match against the White Knights is set to be staged at the Arab El-Borg Stadium in Alexandria at 20:30 on Sunday night.
