In the summer, Friday moved to AZ Alkmaar from Norwegian club Lillestrom.
But the striker’s agent Atta Aneke has now specially revealed the player could also have taken up a more financially rewarding deal to China.
“Fred Friday, who I took to AZ Alkmaar in the summer had an offer from China, where he would be paid more than a million Euros net a year, but he chose to go to AZ,” Aneke said.
The Oslo-based agent said more often than not a move to China has to do with the cash.
“China is all about the money most times,” he admitted.
