Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr has said he hopes youngster Tyronne Ebuehi will eventually be a solution to the right back problem in his team.
Rohr admitted he has had to play four different players in that position in his first three matches in charge – Musa Mohammed, Wilfred Ndidi, Kenneth Omeruo and Shehu Abdullahi.
“I hope Ebuehi comes the next time (after they he stayed away against Algeria to focus on his career,” said Rohr.
“Musa Mohammed played in that position against Tanzania and he was good, but he is not playing at his club in Turkey. He must find a solution.
“We have also played Ndidi, Omeruo and Shehu in that position.”
Ebuehi from Dutch club ADO Den Haag was stopped from the Algeria match by his agent even after his parents approved for him to honour the call-up.
