Nigerian striker Rabiu Ali has undergone a knee surgery in Portugal and he will be sidelined for up to six weeks.
“Ali was operated on Friday night. It was a successful surgery,” disclosed his representative Faisal Abdullahi.
“He will be out for between five and six weeks.”
This past season, Kaduna-born Rabiu Ali netted once in three games for Valadares Gaia.
The 19-year-old player nicknamed ‘Ali Ganga’ has also featured for another Portuguese club SC Vila Real.
