Following media reports that former Zambian national team coach George Lwandamina has signed for Young Africans, the Tanzanian side has confirmed the move.
The Tanzanian Vodacom League defending champions have addressed the media on Monday morning, with vice chairman Clement Sanga confirming 'Chicken's' capture.
Although his future has been speculated in the media, the club decided to officially announce their new mentor.
“It’s true we have signed Lwandamina and he will take the team through the second leg of the league, he will meet the returning players on 25 to November before the second leg resumes on 17th Dec,” Sanga tells Soka25east.com.
Meanwhile, the vice chairman also added they will still retain Hans Pluijm as the technical Director allaying fears that he would leave.
“Our old teacher will be our Technical Director, we have talked to him and agreed to have him as our technical Director, ” Sanga adds.
On the other side, Sanga added that Juma Mwambusi will be the assistant coach until that time there will be a change.
