Nigeria have moved 10 spots up in the latest FIFA Rankings and they are now 50
th in the world thanks to an impressive run in the World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria are back in the African top-10 in seventh place with Senegal and Cote d’Ivoire the top two countries on the continent.
However, Nigeria’s World Cup rivals Algeria and Cameroon dropped in the latest ratings.
Algeria are 38
th in the world, three places down from their previous ranking, while Cameroon are 65
th, six places below the position they enjoyed last month.
Zambia moved to 91
st position, three spots up from last month’s ranking.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been unbeaten under new coach Gernot Rohr after three straight wins over Tanzania, Zambia and Algeria.
