Victor Moses’ new lease of life at Chelsea continued Saturday night when he scored the match winner to lift ‘The Blues’ back to the top of the Premier League and was handed the man of the match award.
Chelsea came from a goal down to beat London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
They now have 31 points from 13 matches, a point ahead of Liverpool and Manchester City.
Nigeria star Victor Moses blasted home a right-footed angled shot from inside the box after 51 minutes to ensure Chelsea recorded their seventh straight win.
It was the third league goal this season for the 25-year-old right wing-back.
And like it was after last weekend's win at Middlesbrough, Victor Moses was also adjudged man of the match.
Christian Eriksen gave visiting Spurs the lead after 11 minutes with a stunning strike, before Pedro drew Chelsea level in similar fashion on 45 minutes courtesy of an assist by Dele Alli.
It was Spurs first loss of the league season.
