Nigeria youngsters Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi were both on target in the UEFA Champions League for their respective Premier League clubs Manchester City and Arsenal Tuesday night.

Iheanacho, 20, netted his second goal in this season’s Champions League for Manchester City to tie Celtic 1-1.

His other Champions League goal was against German club Borussia Monchengladbach in September.

Iwobi, also 20, scored Arsenal’s fourth goal after 53 minutes as the London club battered home team Basel of Switzerland 4-1.

He fired home from close range to complete the destruction of the hosts.

City have already qualified for the knockout stage of the competition, which will be played in February.

They finished second behind group winners Barcelona with nine points from six matches.

On Tuesday night, Celtic shot ahead at The Etihad after just four minutes, before Nigeria international drew hosts City level after eight minutes.

Arsenal won their group on 14 points ahead of PSG, who forced a draw in Paris.
