One-time Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has said he is excited to team up with a top club like Enyimba.

The 31-year-old Dauda, who has also played in South Africa with Orlando Pirates and Chippa United, has joined Enyimba along with defender Tijani Joshua.

Both players joined from top Ghanaian club Ashanti Gold SC.

“I am pleased to sign for one of the best clubs in Africa with a rich history,” said Dauda, who was voted Goalkeeper of the Year in Ghana in 2008.

“I want to thank the general coordinator of Enyimba Jude Anyadufu by the way he has received my team mate and I. He has been very warm.”

Seven-time Nigeria champions Enyimba are embarking on a massive re-organisation after a very disappointing past season.

They finished 10th last campaign and failed to win a major trophy.
