Botswana side Orapa United are set to register 25 players for the upcoming 2016 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Clubs participating in the continental competition are allowed to register 30 players annually.

However, Botswana Premier League (BPL) clubs are only allowed to register 25 players per season.

Orapa head coach Madida Ndlovu has since revealed that they won't be signing more players for the Confederation Cup during the January Transfer Window.

“What am I going to do with the extra five players that I am going to sign in January after they finish playing CAF? I will have to pay them for the rest of the contract without them playing in the league," Ndlovu said.

“There is nothing I can do. I will go with the 25 players into the CAF as required by our football association,” he concluded.

Next year's Confederation Cup will kick-of in February.
