Heartland have disowned a new management team, which has Goodfaith Etuemena as chairman and Ramson Madu as coach.

In a press release signed by media manager Solomon Onu, Heartland described the new club management as “fake”.

“Heartland have dissociated themselves from a fake list flying around in the name of a new Heartland management,” read a strongly-worded statement signed by Onu.

“We wish to state that the entire Heartland paraphernalia (players, staff and management) is together and united with one objective, which is to bring Heartland back to the elite division.

“We wish to warn the general public that Heartland shall not be held liable for any fraudulent acts committee by this band of imposters and con artists.”

The statement said Etuemena remains general manager of the club, Oscar Keke is chief Operating Officer and Emeka Iwuagwu is general co-ordinator.
