Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo has a big chance to get his season back on track this afternoon when he leads Watford attack at home against Crystal Palace.
Ighalo, 27, has only managed a goal in the Premier League this season after he fired 15 goals last term.
Compatriot Isaac Success is not listed for this Boxing Day clash, while Watford skipper Troy Deeney is benched.
Ighalo himself has said he has put behind him some personal problems to start scoring goals again in England.
“I will keep working hard and I believe I will soon hit the ground running again,” he said.
“We have only played half of the season and I believe the goals will soon start coming again.
“It’s not some excuse but I have had some personal problems this season and hopefully all that is now behind me.”
Watford are 12th
on the table with 21 points from 17 matches.
They are six points clear of Palace, who will be led today by former England manager Sam Allardyce.
