Ahead of the 2017 U20 CAF Africa Cup of Nations this month, Zambian national side Beston Chambeshi has recalled Kabwe Warriors goalkeeper Tresford Mulenga.

The 25-man squad will undergo training and preparations as they want to retain the AFCON trophy at home following their 2016 COSAFA Castle Cup glory.

“We are the hosts of the competition [African Under-20 Cup of Nations]. We want to step up preparations after the Christmas break,” Chambeshi said.

The junior tournament is set for 26 February to 12 March and Amajita are in Group B with Senegal, Cameroon and Sudan, while hosts Junior Chipolopolo are in Group A with Mali, Guinea and Egypt
