Botswana international Mpho Kgaswane has been heavily linked with a move to South African Absa Premiership outfit Baroka FC.

The attacking midfielder is currently on the books of Gaborone United, who campaign in Botswana's top division, the BTC Premiership.

According to reports coming out of Botswana, Baroka have identified Kgaswane as a potential target during the current Transfer Window and they have already approached his club.

United and Baroka are believed to be close to finalizing a deal which would see the 23-year-old winger join Bakgaga this month.

Two years ago, Kgaswane was linked with a potential move to South African side Platinum Stars after impressing at the 2015 COSAFA Cup.

However, the move never materialized and the left-footed player stayed at Moyagolele helping them secure a top eight finish in the league.

Kgaswane's Botswana teammate Thabang Sesinyi nearly joined Baroka at the beginning of the season, but the transfer deal fell through.

But Sesinyi did leave Orapa United for another BTC Premiership side Jwaneng Galaxy where he is currently playing at the moment.

Township Rollers head coach Mark Harrison recently left the Botswana giants and joined Baroka as the technical director.
