Botswana giants Gaborone United have backed their former star Mpho Kgaswane to excel at South African outfit Baroka FC.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder joined Bakgaga ba ga Mphahlele from Moyagolele during the current January Transfer Window.
United public relations officer Mmirwa Mosedame has explained the Botswana international's transfer to the Absa Premiership side.
Mosedame revealed that they have added a clause which will benefit the BTC Premiership giants in future if Baroka sell Kgaswane to another club.
"His move comes at a wrong time for the club because he is amongst the key players," Mosedame told local media.
"But this is a great opportunity for him to show his class at a higher level. We have no doubt that he will excel."
Kgaswane joins two other Botswana internationals, Mogakolodi Ngele and Lebogang Ditsele in the South African top flight league.
Former Platinum Stars and Mamelodi Sundowns forward Ngele is now turning out for Bidvest Wits, while Ditsele is currently on the books of Highlands Park.
