The Democratic Republic of Congo (D.R.C) continued their preparations for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals with an emphatic win over Apejes F.C.
The Leopards locked horns with Apejes in a practise match which was played at the CAF Center of Excellence Mbankomo in Cameroon earlier this week.
They went into the game having suffered a 2-0 defeat to Cameroon in an international friendly at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde last week.
Fulham midfielder Neekens Kebano, Panathinakos midfielder Paul-Jose M'Poku and TP Mazembe star Jonathan Bolingi all scored for the Leopards.
While Cedric Bakambu, who plies his trade in Spain for La Liga club Villarreal, hit the back of the net twice as D.R.C sealed a 5-0 victory.
The Leopards are in Group C along with the defending AFCON champions Ivory Coast, Togo as well as North African giants Morocco.
This year's AFCON finals will take place in Gabon and the prestigious continental tournament will run from January 14 to February 5.
