Striker Adamu Mohammed, who came off the bench to score twice for Kano Pillars to beat 3SC, has said he is delighted to be voted Man of the Match on Sunday.

Pillars came from a goal down to outscore visiting Shooting Stars 2-1 with Adamu Mohammed netting a brace.

He won 16 votes from the journalists who covered the match to be picked as Man of the Match.

Adamu Muhammad a.k.a ‘Ada’ came off the bench in the 39th minute to cancel out the visitors’ opening goal in the 47th minute. He then fired the winning goal in stoppage time.

“I thank Almighty Allah for making it possible for us to win the match and I also dedicate my Man of the Match award to the team and the entire fans of the club,” said the striker.

Meanwhile, the spokesman of Kano Pillars Idris Malikawa announced the team will leave Kano today to Akure ahead of an NPFL Week 4 clash against Sunshine Stars on Wednesday.
