Enyeama salutes super Troost-Ekong

Former Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama has praised Nigeria international defender William Troost-Ekong following his impressive display for Belgian club Gent.

Troost-Ekong has returned to parent club Gent after a loan spell at Norwegian club FK Haugesund.

"Another strong wall in the making. keep going strong bro @wtroostekong.naija is blessed.so glad I had a game with you," Enyeama tweeted while making reference to a 2017 AFCON qualifier against Chad in June 2015 in Kaduna both players were involved in.

Ekong was rock-solid for Gent in their 1-0 win this weekend over Sporting Charleroi.

Fellow Eagles star Moses Simon played for 64 minutes, while compatriot Samuel Kalu gave assist for the only goal of the game.
