AfricanFootball.com has again exclusively scooped that Belgian club AS Eupen are preparing for the exit of Nigerian youngster Henry Onyekuru as they have now made a bid for a left-footed forward.
A source in Belgium told AfricanFootball.com that the club may now bow to the player's request to leave the club in this transfer window.
"The club I gathered are going for a left-footed forward who will replace Onyekuru when he finally moves," the source revealed.
Onyekuru, who has netted 10 goals in 21 games for AS Eupen in the Belgian top league, is serious about joining Scottish giants Celtic despite several interests from France, England, Austria, Turkey and Germany.
He has stayed away from his club to force a transfer before the Tuesday, January 31, deadline.
