English Premier League (EPL) club Tottenham Hotspur will not be making a late move for Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha.
The skillful winger recently returned from the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Gabon following Ivory Coast's early exit from the tournament.
One of Spain's top football publication, Marca newspaper, recently reported that Spurs would make a bid for Zaha, who is on the books of EPL side Crystal Palace.
But Spurs manager and head coach Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that they will not be bringing in any new players before Tuesday's Transfer Window deadline.
“No. I told you from the first day that we are not thinking to sign players," Pochettino said on the Star Sports.
“I remember too, if some special player was available, maybe," the Argentine tactician continued.
“But it doesn't happen yet and for me it is not impossible, one per-cent maybe, but I don't believe we will sign anybody.”
Zaha's Palace are scheduled to face AFC Bournemouth in an English Premier League game at the Vitality Stadium in Dorset on Tuesday.
