Ex-Eagles ace Peter Suswam set for Enyimba debut

Peter Terna Suswam set to debut for Enyimba at El Kanemi Sunday

Former Super Eagles defender Peter Terna Suswam is in line to make his Enyimba debut at El Kanemi Warriors on Sunday.

The right fullback or defensive midfielder has been named on the 18-man matchday squad, who will hit Abuja for the flight to Maiduguri.

Suswam, who won the 2011 U20 AFCON with the likes of Ahmed Musa and Olanrewaju Kayode, has returned to the NPFL after stints in Portugal, Albania and Poland.

He said he has returned to the domestic league, which he left about seven years ago, to get his career back on track.

“I hope joining Enyimba will bring me back on track and if possible get another opportunity to play in Europe,” said Suswam, who featured for Lobi Stars and Wikki Tourists before he moved overseas.

“For now, I want to win games with Enyimba and I am glad I am on the trip to Maiduguri.

“I want to double my efforts and the best of me should come out at Enyimba.”
