Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma has said he plans changes for Sunday’s NPFL clash at 3SC after the Port Harcourt club were held at home by Lobi Stars last weekend.

Rivers United fired blanks against Lobi Stars in a disappointing home game at Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt last Sunday, a result that Eguma admitted did not meet his expectation.

Rivers United are fifth on the NPFL table with seven points from a possible 15.

"There is likely going to be some changes in our squad at the Shooting Stars match,” Eguma revealed.

“Last time we drew with Lobi Stars, so we hope to try and adjust the team for the next game."

It will not be the first time ‘Capello’, as Rivers United handler is called, will ring changes in ‘The Pride of Rivers’ squad this term.

After a slim 1-0 win against Niger Tornadoes in a matchday 3 fixture, Eguma rang changes in the team as they travelled to FC Ifeanyiubah for a matchday 4 clash, which ended scoreless.
