Super Eagles defender Akeem Latifu has said he is happy to be playing again after a difficult but short stint in Turkey.
Latifu was frozen out at Turkish Super League club Alanyaspor before he cancelled his contract by mutual consent and joined Azerbaijani club Zira FC.
"I am happy to be playing again,” he opened up.
“I am doing well with Zira and I will be glad if we can grab the ticket to play in Europa League. It's within reach and we will still work harder to get it."
The former Aalesund of Norway ace, who could play as a right back or central defender, has also played in Nigeria, Norway, Ukraine and Turkey.
