22:55 We end tonight's African Stars Watch coverage with the full time scores from Ligue 1's evening games: Dijon 2-0 Caen, Lille 1-2 Angers, Monaco 5-0 Metz, Nancy 0-3 Montpellier and Toulouse 4-1 Bastia.

22:45 Yves Bissouma has been sent off for Lille, who are 2-1 down at home to Angers.

22:40 Half time in the Serie A game sees Khama Boubacar's Fiorentina 1-0 up against Udinese thanks to a goal from Borja Valero.

22:30 Less than 20 minutes of regulation time left in the Ligue 1 matches.

22:20 Ryad Boudebouz has provided two assists for Montpellier who are now 3-0 up away to Nancy and cruising to three points.

22:10 Fallou Diagne's Metz are having a tough time away to Monaco, they're now 4-0 down. In another Ligue 1 match, Prince Oniangue has pulled a goal back for Bastia to see them trail 2-1 at Toulouse.

22:05 We're back underway in the Ligue 1 matches in France.

22:00 Up to the quarter hour mark in Italy, where Khouma Babacar's Fiorentina are being held 0-0 by Udinese.

21:50 Half time in France, here are the scores: Toulouse 2-0 Bastia, Dijon 1-0 Caen, Lille 1-1 Angers, Monaco 3-0 Metz and Nancy 0-2 Montpellier.

21:45 Another African goal scorer in France, where Mehdi Abeid has got on the score sheet for Dijon at home to Caen.

21:40 In five minutes the final Spanish La Liga match of the day gets underway, but there's almost no African involvement for Osasuna v Real Madrid - the former have Cameroonian Raoul Loe on the bench.

21:30 Kicking off in 15 minutes we have the only Serie A game of the day, which sees Khouma Babacar start for Fiorentina at home to Udinese, who have Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu on the bench. In France, Yves Bissouma has a goal for Lille away to Angers.

21:25 Done and dusted in England and Germany: Sadio Mane's two goals saw Liverpool beat Spurs 2-0, while Nabil Bentaleb's Schalke defeated Salomon Kalou's Hertha by the same score line.

21:22 In fact, we now have our first African scorer in Ligue 1's evening games, with Steve Mounie of Benin putting Montpellier 2-0 up.

21:20 No African scorers in France just yet, but Monaco lead Metz 2-0 and Montpellier are 1-0 up away to Nancy.

20:40 Another Ligue 1 game in 20 minutes sees Youssef Ait Bennasser, Issiar Dia, Modou Diagne and Diallo Guidileye start for Nancy at home to Montpellier, who feature Keagan Dolly, Ryad Boudebouz, Steve Mounie and Stephane Sessegnon.

20:35 Back underway in the second half in the Premier League... can Sadio Mane rack up a hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur? In an upcoming Ligue 1 game, Fallou Diagne, Cheick Doukoure and Ismaila Sarr start for Metz away to Monaco.

20:17 Half time in the Premier League and Bundesliga. Sadio Mane's two goals see Liverpool 2-0 up against Spurs, while Scahlke lead Salomon Kalou's Hertha Berlin 1-0.

20:12 Goal for Schalke in the Bundesliga - Guido Burgstaller has netted to see Nabil Bentaleb's team take a 1-0 lead. The Algerian provided the assist for the goal.

20:05 The early game in France has wrapped up, with Mustapha Diallo's goal helping Guingamp claim a 2-1 win over Rachid Ghezzal's Lyon.

20:00 We've reached the half hour mark in the final Bundesliga match of the day, where Nabil Bentaleb's Schalke are being held 0-0 by Salomon Kalou's Hertha Berlin.

19:50 Mane has just completed his brace for Liverpool. It is 2-0 against Southampton.

19:48 Mane scores for Liverpool in their EPL match against Southampton. 1-0 to the Reds after 16 minutes. 10 minutes remaining in France between Guincamp and Lyon.

19:30 Liverpool are underway against Southampton at Anfield. No goals for now as Mane and Matip will hope to win.

19:22 In the CAF Champions League match between South Africa's Bidvest Wits, the score is 2-1 in the second half to the hosts, Saint Louisienne in Reunion. Guincamp still lead 2-1 in their French Ligue1 match against Lyon.

18:55 Pienaar's Sunderland have lost 4-0 against Southampton. Bailly's United claim the full three points over Watford, 2-0 at full time. Kouyate's West Ham have failed to protect their lead as they draw 2-2 against West Brom. Stoke have defeated Zaha's Palace, 1-0.

18:50 Zaha's Palace are now 1-0 down against Stole City. In the other match, Kouyate's West Ham are now leading at 2-1. Sunderland are now 3-0 down against Southampton and Manchester United still lead Watford 2-0.

18:35 South African midfielder, Pienaar comes on for Sunderland replacing John O'Shea against Southampton and the score remains 2-0. In the French league, Lyon have scored and it's 2-1 against Diallo's Guincamp. Diallo has scored a brace.

18:30: It is over in the Bundesliga: Aubameyang's Dortmund lose 2-1 to Darmstadt. Matip's Ingolstadt also lose 2-0 to Bayern whilst Sane's Monchengladbach beat Bremen 1-0.

18:25 Anthony Martial joins Juan Mata in the scoresheet as they are now taking a 2-0 lead against Watford. M. Matip's Ingolstadt are also 2-0 down against Bayern in Germany.

18:17 No changes in the Budnesliga and the EPL as far as scores are concerned. Diallo's Guincamp have taken the lead in France against Lyon with only 15 minutes played.

18:10 We are back in action in the English Premier League: Manchester United 1-0, Sunderland 0-2 Southampton and West Ham are 1-0 down to West Brom. Zaha's Palace are yet to score, 0-0 against Stoke.

17:50 It is half time in the EPL: Pienaar's Sunderland are 2-0 down against Southampton. Manchester United 1-0 Watford and Kouyate's West Ham 1-0 down to West Brom.

17:40 Eric Bailly's United have found the back of the net through Anthony Martial. 1-0 to Manchester United against Watford with less than 10 minutes to the interval.

17:25 25 minutes played in the EPL, Bailly's Manchester United 0-0 Watford, Kouyate and Ayew's West Ham are 1-0 down against West Brom and Sunderland are still held at 0-0 against Southampton. South Africa's Steven Pienaar is benched in the match.

17:18 Bailly's United are yet to find the back of the net. Aubameyang's Dortmund have broken the deadlock in their match against Darmstadt. 1-1 so far.

17:05 West Brom have found the back of the net in the EPL. It is now 1-0 against Kouyate's West Ham in the first five minutes.

17:00 Ghana's Andrew Ayew of West Ham is missing for the Hammers as they meet West Brom. Cheickhou Kouyate starts and the match is underway. Aubameyang's Dortmund are a goal down in their Bundesliga encounter against Darmstadt. It's in the first 25 minutes so far.

16:55 Cote d'Ivoire defender Eric Bailly is back for Manchester United as they tackle Watford at home in the English Premier League. The match gets underway at 17:00.

16:45 Borussia Monchengladbach grabs the lead against Sane's Bremen. Thorgan Hazard is the goal scorer. 1-0.

16:40 Senegal's Lamine Sane gets to start for Werder Bremen against Borussi Monchengladbach. The are no goals as yet in the Bundesliga tie.

16:35 In the German Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund are up against Darmstadt. Gabonese international striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is starting.

16:25 Arsenal get a penalty and Sanchez doubles the lead, 2-0 to the hosts and it is now full time as the Gunners take the full three points. Arsenal 2-0 Hull City.

16:18 Arsenal features Nigeria's Alex Iwobi and Egyptian international, Mohamed Elneny who just replaced Theo Walcott. The Gunners still leading Hull City 1-0 in the second half. Alexis Sanchez is the goalscorer.
