Roma striker Edin Dzeko says he is happy to see Egypt’s Mohamed Salah back in the team’s line-up.
The Pharaohs attacker returned to the Roma team this past weekend after being absent while representing his country at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
His impact in a Serie A match against Crotone was notable, with Salah providing two assists and earning a penalty which Dzeko missed.
“We’re happy Salah is back. He is important to the team because of his assists and killer touches,” the Bosnian told Roma’s official website. “It is his favourite hobby.”
Roma are currently seven points adrift of Serie A leaders Juventus, but their next assignment will be a trip to Villarreal for a UEFA Europa League clash on Thursday.
