CONFED CUP: Wikki Tourists, Ifeanyiubah crash out

Nigeria’s representatives in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup Wikki Tourists and FC Ifeanyiubah Sunday crashed out.

Wikki could only beat RSLAF of Sierra Leone 1-0 at home to go out 2-1 on aggregate.

Ifeanyiubah, on the other hand, lost 3-0 on penalties to Al Masry of Egypt after they lost the return leg match 1-0 in Port Said.

A penalty shootout thus determined the tie after aggregate scores stood at 1-1.

In Bauchi, Wikki converted a penalty in the 76^th minute after they failed to score in the 19^th minute, also from the penalty spot.

However, the Bauchi club had lost their first leg match in Free Town 2-0 and so were eliminated 2-1 on aggregate by the army team from Sierra Leone.
