As they renew their rivalry in the Absa Premiership, Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says they have to be smart against the Clever Boys.

The table topping Bidvest Wits travel to Tshwane to honour their league fixture against the African champions in an aim to bag a second win in all competitions this season.

Gavin Hunt led his charges to a 3-0 win in the MTN8 Cup final last year and will now hope to bag a league win to consolidate their top spot on the South african league table.

Both sides are fresh from midweek wins - the Brazilians beat Platinum Stars 2-1 on Tuesday night whilst Wits ran riot after beating Baroka FC 5-0 a day later.

The 2016 CAF Coach of the Year said although they beat Wits twice in the league last season, they never showboated, reflecting on their 3-0 loss where the Braamfontein side displayed their flashy tricks.

“You have to be smart when you play Wits," Mosimane said on

"You have to be smart when you play Cape Town City. You don't have to beat Wits to win the league. You don't have to beat Cape Town City to win the league.

"We beat Wits twice last season. This is enough to show that we can beat them. We scored four here (in our home game) remember, we never showboated.

"They scored three goals (in the MTN8 final), they showboated.

"We have enough goals. You have to be smart. You need to fight and punch very cleverly. We don't have to be emotional, we have the experience now. It's not going to be toe-to-toe."

Loftus Versfeld Stadium is the venue and the match gets underway at 18:00 on Saturday.
