Mamelodi Sundowns will welcome fellow Absa Premiership title contenders Bidvest Wits to Loftus Versfeld on 25 February 2017, kick-off at 18h00.

Sundowns claimed a fifth win from their last six league matches when they defeated Platinum Stars 2-1 away on February 21.

The Tshwane side has claimed 15 points from six home matches this season.

The Brazilians are placed fifth on the Absa Premiership log with 29 points from 13 matches.

Wits claimed a third successive win since the turn of the year with a 5-0 defeat of Baroka FC on February 22.

The Johannesburg side has claimed 18 points from nine away matches this season.

The Clever Boys are placed first on the Absa Premiership log with 34 points from 16 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Sundowns and Wits have met in 61 league matches since 1985.

The Brazilians have claimed 33 wins compared to 16 for the Clever Boys, while 12 matches have been drawn.

Sundowns have won 18 of their 30 home league matches against Wits, suffering just four defeats in the process.
