Chippa United and Golden Arrows will both be looking to bounce back from Absa Premiership defeats when they meet at Sisa Dukashe Stadium on 24 February 2017, kick-off at 20h00.

Chippa suffered their first loss in the league in 2017 when they went down 2-0 away to Bloemfontein Celtic on February 19.

The Eastern Cape side has claimed 15 points from nine home matches this season.

The Chilli Boys are placed eighth on the Absa Premiership log with 20 points from 17 matches.

Arrows suffered a third loss from their last four league matches when they were beaten 1-0 at home by Free State Stars on February 18.

The Durban side has claimed 11 points from nine away matches this season.

Abafana Bes’thende are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with 23 points from 18 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Arrows and Chippa have met in five previous top flight league matches.

Abafana Bes’thende have claimed three wins compared to one for the Chilli Boys, while there has been one draw in the rivalry.

Chippa have yet to win at home in the league against Arrows, having recorded a draw and a loss in their two previous turns as host.

When the teams met earlier this season, Abafana Bes’thende claimed a narrow 1-0 home win.

The teams’ five league meetings have produced just eight goals.
