AS Eupen hitman Henry Onyekuru has told AfricanFootball.com he dedicated his man-of-the-match award in his team's 2-1 win at Lokeren to his mum.
AS Eupen are now 11th on the Belgian league table with 30 points from 28 games.
Onyekuru, who scored the winner in the 80th minute when he chipped the ball over the goalkeeper after he assisted Eric Ocansey for the opener in the 37th minute, said he did so because his mum has been his back bone after God.
"I give God all the glory. The man of the match award is dedicated to my mum who is my backbone after God. She has always been there for me," Onyekuru told AfricanFootball.com
The Nigerian striker has now scored 12 goals in the league and two in the cup games.
His goals have sparked off interests across Europe and he is expected in the summer to move to a bigger club in a bigger league.
