Lobi Stars without injured Shehu Nasiru, suspended James

Lobi Stars defenders Shehu Nasiru and Chinedu James will miss this afternoon’s clash against Enyimba.

Nasiru picked an injury in Enugu Wednesday when they lost 2-1 to defending champions, Enugu Rangers.

Nasiru limped off the pitch in the second half and was replaced by John Bello.

Similarly, Chinedu James was sent off in the same rescheduled match against the Flying Antelopes after a second bookable offence.

"We have a good team that can take care of Enyimba but certainly we will miss the experience of (Chinedu) James and Nasiru,” an official assured.

"Nasiru was injured in Enugu against Rangers and we are not talking about him playing because he has to get well first before playing again."

The Lobi Stars official stressed Enyimba will give them a good run for their money but insisted they will stand out to be counted in the end.
