FC Ifeanyiubah coach Yaw Preko has said he will recall Prince Aggreh and King Osanga to the starting line-up for today’s clash against NPFL leaders Plateau United.
"When we came back from Egypt after losing out in the CAF Confederation Cup to Al-Masry, I decided to rest some players during our league match against Katsina United,” said former Ghana star Preko
"The decision to rest players like King Osanga and Prince Aggreh among others was due to fatigue and to give the team some balance of freshness.
"Against Plateau United on Sunday, Osanga and Aggreh will be play. We need their experience but we will still give some other players rest too."
He did not reveal the players he will rest against Plateau United but firmly described the tie as a must win match.
"Plateau United are the current leaders. We lost all the three points against Katsina United so we cannot afford not to win against Plateau United," further said the coach.
He reflected on their CAF Confederation Cup first round exit but said as painful as it was, they have to embark on the journey for a new beginning.
"We did not lose our heads in Egypt. Sad we exited the tournament through penalty kicks,” he said.
"Losing our first three kicks was shocking but we have to get back to the basics, focus on the league and give it our best shot."
