Abia Warriors declare Seun Olulayo AWOL after Egypt trials

Former Sunshine Stars ace Seun Olulayo has been declared AWOL by Abia Warriors after returning from trials in Egypt.

Olulayo, a defender or midfielder, tried out at a top teams Egyptian club recently, but he has yet to resume training with Abia Warriors after his agent and the team failed  to reach an agreement.

The former Nigeria U20 star was to have rejoined his NPFL club on February 19.

"We are not happy with Seun and his agent because they refused to honour the agreement we reached with them after the player attended trials in Egypt,” complained one of the Abia Warriors officials.
