Platinum Stars will look for a second successive Absa Premiership win when they host Chippa United at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on 3 March 2017, kick-off at 20h00.

Stars ended a five-match winless streak with a 3-0 away victory over Bloemfontein Celtic on February 25.

The Rustenburg side has claimed five points from nine home matches this season.

Dikwena are placed 12th on the Absa Premiership log with 19 points from 18 matches.

Chippa saw their winless run in the league extended to four matches with a goalless draw at Mamelodi Sundowns on March 1.

The Eastern Cape side has claimed six points from nine away matches this season.

The Chilli Boys are placed ninth on the Absa Premiership log with 22 points from 19 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Stars and Chippa have met in seven league matches since 2012/13.

The Chilli Boys have claimed three wins compared to one for Dikwena, while three matches have been drawn.

Stars have an unbeaten home record in the league against Chippa, with one win and two draws from three matches.

When the teams met earlier this season, they played to a 1-1 draw in the Eastern Cape.

The teams’ seven league meetings have produced a total of 19 goals.
