Polokwane City will look to break a run of draws in the Absa Premiership when they host local rivals Baroka FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium on 5 March 2017, kick-off at 15h30.

Polokwane played to a fourth successive 1-1 draw when they were held at Orlando Pirates on February 25.

The Limpopo side has claimed 13 points from eight home matches this season.

Rise and Shine are placed sixth on the Absa Premiership log with 25 points from 19 matches.

Baroka have gone 13 league matches without a win after they were beaten 3-0 at home by Cape Town City on February 26.

The Limpopo side has claimed seven points from eight away matches this season.

Bakgaga are placed 16th on the Absa Premiership log with 13 points from 19 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Polokwane and Baroka have met in just one previous top flight league match.

That encounter took place earlier this season, with the teams playing to an entertaining 2-2 draw with Baroka as hosts.
