Cameroon coach Besong Ashu says they aim to do well at the 2017 Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Zambia.

The Young Indomitable Lions beat Sudan's Young Falcons of Jediane 4-1 to record their first Group B victory on Thursday afternoon.

"Having watched our last game, we wanted to do better today. The players knew it was a must win and we were for it," Ashu told CAF Media.

"It was a final for us and the players showed what they are capable of. We played similarly against Sudan and we won with our same playing style.

"Our priority is to develop good players for the senior team. We are therefore not under pressure to win," he added.

"We want to do well at the tournament."

Cameroon are scheduled to take on Senegal in their final Group B game in Ndola on Sunday.
