Orlando Pirates will look to end their long winless run in the Absa Premiership when they host SuperSport United at Orlando Stadium on 7 March 2017, kick-off at 19h30.

Pirates have gone 10 league games without a win after playing to a 1-1 draw away to Kaizer Chiefs on March 4.

The Soweto side has claimed 11 points from nine home matches this season.

The Buccaneers are placed 10th on the Absa Premiership log with 22 points from 19 matches.

SuperSport extended their unbeaten run in the league to 18 matches with a goalless draw at home to Ajax Cape Town on March 4.

The Tshwane side has claimed 15 points from 10 away matches this season.

Matsatsantsa are placed third on the Absa Premiership log with 36 points from 19 matches.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and Pirates have met in 51 league matches since 1990.

The Buccaneers have 22 wins compared to 17 for Matsatsantsa, while 12 matches have been drawn.

Pirates have won 12 of their 25 home league matches against United, suffering six defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season, Matsatsantsa claimed a massive 6-1 home win over Bucs.

The teams’ last five league meetings have produced 20 goals.
