Thank you for joining us for another edition of Africa Stars Watch as we took a look at Africa’s finest players plying their trade in top football leagues across the globe.

20h30 - Joel Matip (Cameroon) and Sadio Mane (Senegal) were both booked as their team Liverpool drew 1-1 with Man City.

20h20 - Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is still on the pitch for Udinese, who are now leading 2-1 against Palermo in the second-half.

20h15 - Victorien Angban (Ivory Coast) of Granada is booked after making a poor challenge in the 37th minute and it is still 0-0.

20h05 - Joel Matip (Cameroon) and his Liverpool teammates have conceded against Man City and it's now 1-1 with 75 minutes played.

19h55 - Yaya Toure (Ivory Coast) is substituted in the 65th minute with his side Man City losing 1-0 to Liverpool.

19h50 - Udinese, who have Emmanuel Agyemang Badu on the pitch, have equalized against Palermo. Henri Saivet (Senegal) was substituted in the 63rd minute, but his side St Etienne are leading 1-0 in stoppage time.

19h45 - Sadio Mane (Senegal) and his Liverpool teammates applied on the Man City defence and they scored from the spot-kick in the 51st minute.

19h40 - Emmanuel Agyemang Badu (Ghana)'s Udinese are trailing 1-0 against Palermo with 40 minutes played.

19h30 - Uche Agbo (Nigeria), Mehdi Carcela-Gonzalez (Morocco) and Victorien Angban (IVory Coast) have started for Granada against Sporting Gijon in the Spanish La Liga match.

18h50 - Yaya Toure (Ivory Coast) picks up a yellow card for infringement as his side Manchester City continue to search for the opening goal against Liverpool.

18h40 - Senegal duo Cheikh M'Bengue and Henri Saviet are still both in action for St Etienne, who are still locked at 0-0 with Dijon with 40 minutes played.

18h30 - Sadio Mane (Senegal) is flagged for offside as Liverpool look to grab an early goal against Manchester City.

18h20 - Yaya Toure (Ivory Coast) starts for Manchester City against Liverpool FC, who have Sadio Mane (Senegal) and Joel Matip (Cameroon) on their starting line-up in an English Premier League game. Kick-off is at 18h30 CAT.

18h10 - Victor Wanyama (Kenya), who was booked, played the entire game as his side Tottenham Hotspur edge out Southampton 2-1.

18h00 - Fouad Chafik, Oussama Haddadi, Mehdi Abeid and Julio Tavares start for Dijon at home to Saint-Etienne, who feature Henri Saivet and Cheikh M'Bengue in their XI for the day's second Ligue 1 match, which gets underway at this hour.

17h55 - Full time in Italy, where Franck Kessie provided an assist for Atalanta in their 3-0 win over Pescara, Bologna crushed Chievo 4-1, Kwadwo Asamoah's Juventus won 1-0 at Sampdoria, Keita Balde's Lazio were held 0-0 at Cagliari and Djamel Mesbah's Crotone were beaten 1-0 by Fiorentina.

17h50 - Done and dusted in the first Ligue 1 match, where Nabil Dirar played the full 90 minutes for Monaco in their 3-0 win at Caen.

17h45 - Sofiane Boufal comes off the bench for Southampton as they look to get back on level terms at Tottenham.

17h35 - Nabil Bentaleb has come off the bench for Schalke and they now lead their Bundesliga match at FSV Mainz 1-0.

17h25 - Franck Kessie has come off the bench for Atalanta, who now hold a 2-0 lead against Pescara.

17h20 - Half time in Germany, where Eric Choupo-Moting's Schalke are being held 0-0 at FSV Mainz.

17h15 - Kicking off right now we have a La Liga match in Spain where Atletico Madrid host Sevilla. Sadly there's no African involvement, with Thomas Partey missing out entirely for the home side.

17h10 - Nabil Dirar's Monaco have established a 2-0 lead early in the second half of their Ligue 1 match at Caen.

17h05 - Half time in England, where goals from Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli see Victor Wanyama's Tottenham 2-0 up against Southampton.

16h50 - Half time in the Serie A matches, just three goals so far: Sulley Muntari's Pescara are 1-0 down away to Atalanta, Kwadwo Asamoah's Juventus lead 1-0 at Sampdoria and Chievo lead 1-0 at Bologna.

16h45 - Half time in France, where Nabil Dirar's Monaco lead 1-0 at Caen.

16h35 - Sulley Muntari has been booked for Pescara, who trail hosts Atalanta 1-0 in their Serie A clash.

16h30 - Getting underway now we have a German top flight match which sees Eric Choupo-Moting start for Schalke away to FSV Mainz.

16h20 - An update from Italy, where Kwadwo Asamoah has provided an assist to see Juventus lead 1-0 at Sampdoria.

16h15 - Kicking off right now we have the second Premier League match of the day, which sees Tottenham Hotspur host Southampton. Victor Wanyama starts for the former, while the latter have Sofiane Boufal on the bench.

16h05 - We're also five minutes into five Serie A matches on the go in Italy: Kwadwo Asamoah starts for Juventus away to Sampdoria; Djamel Mesbah starts for Crotone at home to Fiorentina; Keita Balde features for Lazio away to Cagliari; and Frank Kessie is only on the bench for Atalanta at home to Pescara, who have Ahmad Benali and Sulley Muntari in their line-up.

16h00 - First up we can report a goal for Rudy Gestede, though it came in a losing cause, with his Middlesbrough side going down 3-1 at home to Manchester United in a Premier League match which has just wrapped up. Kicking off now we have a Ligue 1 match which sees Jordan Adeoti, Alaeddine Yahia and Syam Ben Yousseff start for Caen at home to Monaco, who have Nabil Dirar in their XI.
