South Sudan bounced back to beat Djibouti 6-0 in their 2019 CAF Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers play-off on Tuesday afternoon at Juba Stadium in South Sudan.
Following the result, South Sudan are now through to Group C of the Qualifiers where they will compete against Mali, Gabon and Burundi en route to Cameroon in 2019.
South Sudan had to bag a win at home after their 2-0 loss at the hands of the Flacons of Jediane last Wednesday.
The Shoremen of the Red Sea displayed their intentions from the first whistle as they dominated the proceedings.
Four goals in the opening half gave the hosts a sigh of relief as they surged closer to reaching the group stages of the qualifiers.
A brace through James Moga and solitary strikes from Dominic Aboy and Robert Wurube ensured they went to the interval enjoying an added advantage.
It was 4-0 at half time and 4-2 on aggregate over the two legs.
The hosts emerged from the tunnel with renewed vigour as they bagged their fifth goal in the 70th minute, making it 5-0 in the day.
With six minutes to go, the hosts made it 6-0 (6-2 on aggregate) as they confirmed their passage into the the group stages of the qualifiers which are set to commence in June this year.
This heavy defeat for the visitors means they are now out of the race to book a spot in Cameroon as they failed to protect their 2-0 first leg advantage.
