Tunisia will use the lessons learned in their recent friendly loss to Morocco to prepare for a key match with Egypt, according to coach Henryk Kasperczak.
The Carthage Eagles will host the Pharaohs for their opening 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Group J qualifier in June.
It is set to be a crunch match between the two North African heavyweights, with the winner set to establish themselves as early favourites to secure qualification.
Tunisia suffered 1-0 defeats to both Cameroon and Morocco in the recent international window.
Kasperczak was naturally not pleased with the results, but believes the lessons learned will make them a batter team ahead of taking on Egypt.
“The Moroccan team caused us a lot of problems and threats in front of goal, because their players have strong technical abilities,” he is quoted by KingFut.
“The loss is a valuable lesson for us and a reminder to fix our weaknesses in the next period before our clash with Egypt in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.”
The Tunisia coach added, “We have to work on our offence and strengthen it in the upcoming period.”
