Souleymane Coulibaly has received praise from his club manager Hossam El-Badry after scoring a brace of goals on his Al Ahly debut.
The Red Devils romped to a 4-0 win over Dakhelya in the Egyptian Premier League this past weekend, with Coulibaly scoring two of the goals.
The 22-year-old Ivory Coast player, who was signed by Ahly in January this year, received warm praise from El-Badry, but the manager added that the newcomer still has much to learn and improve on.
“We’re happy and satisfied with Coulibaly’s performance, however, he still has a long road ahead,” El-Badry told the press in the post-match press conference, as quoted by KingFut.
“We will need the services of a lot of our players in the upcoming period since the team will be playing lots of matches,” he added.
“There will be constant players rotations considering that we have six crucial league matches in one month.”
Al Ahly will also learn the identity of their group stage opponents for the CAF Champions League later this month.
