Hummel returns to sponsor Sierra Leone

Information coming from Sierra Leone is that the country's Football Association is set to announce a kit supply deal with sports brand Hummel.

According to media reports, the Denmark-based kit manufacturer has agreed to sponsor the Leone Stars team ahead of the 2019 CAF Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers starting in June this year.

Meanwhile, it is reported the deal is expected to be signed on Wednesday by both parties following a brief meeting between Hummel representatives and the Sierra Leone football association officials.

“Hummel is back and we will do our best to keep this sponsorship. It wil help the FA to minimize cost on kits,”said an FA official.

Hummel, is the world's sixth largest sporting brand and makes a return after three year absence due to a number of reasons.

The report further reveals that Leone Stars will be donning the kit in the upcoming encounter against Harambee Stars of Kenya.

Leone Stars are in Group F in the Qualifiers en route to Cameroon together with Ghana, Ethiopia and Kenya.
