Bidvest Wits will look to continue their push for the Absa Premiership title when they host Golden Arrows at Bidvest Stadium on 11 April 2017, kick-off at 19h30.

Wits claimed their 12th league win of the season when they defeated Platinum Stars 2-0 at home on April 1.

The Johannesburg side has claimed 22 points from nine home matches this season.

The Clever Boys are placed second on the Absa Premiership log with 41 points from 20 matches.

Arrows claimed a second win from their last three league matches when they defeated Highlands Park 2-1 at home on April 1.

The Durban side has claimed 12 points from 11 away matches this season.

Abafana Bes’thende are placed sixth on the Absa Premiership log with 30 points from 22 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Wits and Arrows have met in 27 league matches since 2001/02.

The Clever Boys have 16 wins compared to four for Abafana Bes’thende, while seven matches have been drawn.

Wits have won nine of their 13 home league matches against Arrows, suffering one defeat in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season they played to a goalless draw in Durban.

The Clever Boys are unbeaten in their last 14 league matches against Abafana Bes’thende.
