As he prepares to lead the Egyptian Premier League giants in Zamalek, coach Augusto Inacia has sat down with Shikabala (Mahmoud Abdel Razek Fadlallah) to discuss the club's problems.

The New White Knights manager revealed to the media that he had a discussion with the experienced player to outline his future goals for the next period.

Inacio has officially put pen-to-paper as Zamalek’s new head coach following the dismissal of Mohamed Helmy.

Speaking to Portuguese media, the 62-year-old mentor talked about his first impressions in the club.

“I was welcomed by everyone here, it truly felt like being in one of the biggest clubs in Africa,” Inacio told Record.

“I’ve met Shikabala in the spa, he came to me right away and we hugged.

“We did not get enough time to speak though but I got a good overview of the team’s bad condition, something that Shikabala confirmed.”

On the other hand, the newly appointed coach assured the White Knights faithful that clinching the league title this season is not an option.

Zamalek currently occupy the fifth place with 40 points while arch rivals Al Ahly are on top of the league with 58 points.

“We will do our best to reach the CAF Champions League but our main goal is to win Egypt Cup,” he concluded.
