Baroka FC coach Milton Dlamini says they are going all out to retain the full three points when they host Free State Stars in the Absa Premiership on Tuesday night.
Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele are desperate for a win to ease their relegation concerns, but meeting a side also fighting for the same cause makes it more interesting.
Dlamini's men sit at the bottom of the log table with 18 points from 22 matches and will now fight for a win at home against Serame Letsoaka's men.
Both sides are fresh from Nedbank Cup Last 16 losses - Ea Lla Koto lost 4-1 to Orlando Pirates whilst the hosts lost 1-0 to Platinum Stars.
Furthermore, the match presents an opportunity to avenge their 1-0 away loss in the opening round in the Free State.
"We have to be motivated as a team, playing at home and coming from good results in the league," says Dlamini.
"We know they are fresh from a 4-1 loss, but that does not mean we must sit back and hope to get a win, we must fight for the full three points.
"We want to score goals but we also need to be cautious of conceding too many. However, we will not play a defensive game and defend a 0-0.
"No, we will fight and attack to bag a win. If we fail, it is not the end of the world for us.
“Look, we know they lost 4-1 in the Nedbank Cup, we also lost our cup game last week, so this is a good match to look forward and I hope we emerge victorious – we will keep on fighting.”
The league encounter will be staged at the Peter Mokaba Stadoium on Tuesday night at 19:30.
