Platinum Stars will look to put a dent in Cape Town City’s Absa Premiership title hopes when the teams meet at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on 13 April 2017, kick-off at 18h00.

Stars saw their winning streak cut to three games when they were beaten 2-0 at Bidvest Wits in April 1.

City have claimed 17 points from the last 21 available and romped to a 4-1 home win over Chippa United on April 3 in their most recent outing.

The Cape Town side has picked up 19 points from 11 away matches this season.

The Citizens are placed first on the Absa Premiership log with 42 points from 22 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Stars and City have met in just one previous top flight league clash.
