Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has indicated that Ivory Coast international Jonathan Kodjia's injury is not too severe.
The 27-year-old forward scored for the Claret and Blue as they drew 1-1 with Burton in the English Championship match in Staffordshire last weekend.
However, Kodjia was substituted in the 36th minute after sustaining an injury and Bruce has stated that they missed his cutting edge in the second-half.
"We think it’s a dead leg. We don’t think it’s too severe," Bruce told Villa's official website.
"Let’s hope he recovers well because we missed him. We missed him when he went off, we missed his cutting edge.
"He's in great form at the moment which is good."
The former Angers SCO striker has been in top form for the Claret and Blue this season - hitting the back of the 19 times in 33 league appearances.
English Premier League (EPL) side Everton FC are reportedly monitoring Kodjia's progress at Villa ahead of the upcoming Transfer Window period.
