Information coming from Egypt is that United Arab Emirates side, Al Ain has withdrawn from the Arab Club Championship set to to get underway in Cairo.
The UAE giants have reportedly pulled out of the tournament scheduled for July involving giants Al Ahly and Zamalek.
The decision has apparently come from their coach Zoran Mamic.
According to KingFut website, Al Ain's board member Mohamed Ebeid Hamad, confirmed that his side won’t be able to take part in the competition based on a decision by Croatian manager, Mamić.

“There are technical and organisational aspects related to the preparation for the new season, and in line with the technical side, we decided to not participate in the Arab Championship,” Hamad said, according to Al Ain’s Twitter account.
“Based on a report from coach Zoran Mamic, we decided to withdraw from the tournament, especially that it does not serve our preparation program for the new football season.
“Most of the players need to get as much rest as possible as the majority of them have been participating with the national team, the Champions League and local championships over three years.”
Meanwhile, the Egyptian Football Association announced in March the names of 12 clubs that will be participating in the Championship, which was last held in 2013.
